Contents: Within module Biostatistics students are acquainted with teorethical basis of most frequently used contemporary statistical methods in medicine and in biological sciences.

- Probability and Statistics (Dr. Mihael Perman, Associate Professor)
- Information Technology in Data Analysis (Dr. Vladimir Batagelj, Full Professor; Dr. Andrej Blejec, Assistant Professor)
- Multivariate Analysis (Dr. Anuška Ferligoj, Full Professor; Dr. Vesna Omladič, Associate Professor)
- Seminar in Official Statistics (Dr. Lea Bregar, Associate Professor)
Core module courses in the second year of the study:
- Statistics in Medicine (Dr. Janez Stare, Associate Professor),
- Design and Analysis of Experiments (Dr. Katarina Košmelj, Full Professor).
Core courses/seminars from the first year of the study are identical for all modules.
Elective Courses
A student can choose two courses from other postgraduate programmes, selection must be affirmed by coordinator of the study.
